Volunteer

We regularly set up events, gatherings in which setting up tables and food is involved.  If you would like to serve alongside with the deaconesses of the church in making the fellowships of our church hospitable to all, please let us know below,  and someone will be in contact with you to give you more information about the hospitality ministry! 

We regularly are updating and maintaining our church building, and are in need of hands to help us to do so.  If you are handy, and are willing to offer your time and energy for small maintenance work, such as painting, cleaning, patching, etc.  Please let us know!

Our deacon and deaconesses regularly follow up with our congregation with mailers, emails, phone calls, and invitations to events and gatherings.  If you would like to be a part of this ministry and work alongside with our deacon and deaconesses in the logistics of caring for the needs of the congregation, let us know here! 

Our social media ministry include development and maintenance of our webpage, our app, our YouTube, Facebook, as well as other social media outlets.  This is a very important ministry which allows us to bring the message of Jesus Christ to people who are distance or who are not able to attend.  Our social media outlets also presents FBCH online to anyone who are seeking for a local church.   

This is the ministry of welcoming our visitors and congregants upon entry to the events and services at First Baptist Church of Hollywood.   Ushers are available to the congregants to provide information regarding seating, restrooms, points of contact regarding ministry leaders, as well as answering any other questions or addressing comments. 

Sometimes there is a need to maintain security around the premise of FBCH.  Those involved in this ministry would do a regular walk around both inside and outside the church premise during church events to make sure that FBCH is a safe and a welcoming environment for our visitors as well as regular congregants.
